STUDY ABROAD
Parsons encourages students to take advantage of the many different options for study abroad available. Programs from one semester to one year are for students at the junior level, but there are summer options for students at every stage in their academic career. Most of the information you will need to apply is right here online, but you should schedule a meeting with your advisor as soon as possible to talk about what option might be best for you. There will also be study abroad information sessions throughout the year.
Applying for Study Abroad
If you are currently a sophomore at Parsons and would like to apply
for a semester or year abroad during your junior year, download the
Study Abroad Application Package.
Other excellent resources that should be carefully read include Insurance Information for Study Abroad Students about how study abroad might affect your health insurance and the relevant pages in Financing Undergraduate Study Abroad, a Guide for New School Students about study abroad and Financial Aid.
You will need to submit an application for Parsons' internal application process to your advisor by March 14
and will also need to submit a separate application to the host institution or study abroad program of your choice.
