ANIMATION DESIGN

Animation is a dynamic field with commercial and artistic uses in a variety of media. This course combines digital lab instruction with training in traditional animation techniques, including storyboarding, storytelling, and character development. Students acquire a drawing vocabulary through observational drawing of movement. In the digital component of the class, students produce an animated short.

Class Meeting

Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm with a one-hour lunch break

Rigorous introductory course for four undergraduate credits

International StudentsStudent visas are required and must allow for full time intensive study. Please note that Canadian citizens who wish to study full time should have an I-20 upon entry to the US. Check the ISS website for more details.
