Parsons is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant foreign students. All international students must follow the application procedures as well as the special procedures below.
Academic Records: All applicants who have studied in a foreign country must submit certified English translations of their academic records, which include grading scale, credits completed, and length of coursework.
English Proficiency and the TOEFL Exam: All students whose native language is not English must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam. A TOEFL score of a least 550 is required prior to enrollment. The TOEFL is given twelve times a year by the College Entrance Examination Board.
Visas: International students accepted to degree programs at Parsons will receive I-20 application materials in the Accepted Student Packet. These must be completed and submitted to Parsons along with required financial documents and affidavits of support. Students are ineligible for an I-20 unless they are enrolled in a degree program full time.
